|About the Study||
The Puttenham One-Place Study began in 1986 as a result of extensive research into the parish.
In 2003, some of the material was placed online at http://www.puttenham.org.uk and as a result, there was a steady trickle of communication from other researchers who had interests in the parish. For a small parish, there are an enormous number of people who have a Puttenham connection! The study holds a lot of detail about the parish and in some cases, adjoining parishes.
Puttenham is a small rural parish, located about four miles from Guildford in Surrey. The parish is located off the A31, a major trunk road in the area, which is known by the locals as the Hogs Back.
